Students who cancel enrollment later than two weeks prior to the start date of their session receive a refund of 80 percent of the program fee. Students who cancel enrollment due to extenuating circumstances are granted a full refund less the $40 (USD) processing fee, upon written request. Refunds are not granted to students who are dismissed from the program for disciplinary reasons.
Scholarships
A limited number of full scholarships are available based on the scholarship nomination application. Students who excel artistically and exhibit financial need are eligible. To be considered, students must be nominated by a teacher or a guidance counselor. A nomination for scholarship consideration does not guarantee that a student will be awarded a scholarship. Educators interested in nominating a student for scholarship consideration may contact SCAD for the nomination application. Only one nomination per school is accepted. All educator nominations must be received at SCAD by April 1, 2010, and must be accompanied by the supporting documents listed on the nomination form. Scholarships include housing, meals, two five-day workshops (one morning, one afternoon), workshop supplies, social activities and events. Scholarships do not include application fee, travel expenses or SCAD transportation to and/or from the airport.
