Community Education and Summer Programs

Community education

SCAD offers community education classes and workshops in Atlanta and Savannah at any skill level in a variety of disciplines. These workshops are offered on an open enrollment, non-credit basis to provide educational and personal enrichment for youth, teens and adults.

Summer programs

SCAD offers an array of summer courses, camps and workshops for credit and for enrichment. The summer quarter schedule includes off-campus, on-campus and SCAD eLearning courses offered for credit to degree-seeking students, as well as to transient and nondegree-seeking students.

Summer programs for educators

The Art Educators' Forum provides workshops for art teachers to learn new skills, network with colleagues from around the world and rejuvenate for the coming school year.

SCAD Summer Seminars are designed for rising high school sophomores, juniors and seniors to explore a variety of creative disciplines across the SCAD curriculum.

MVTTC presents scholarship to Julia Marshall
The Mississippi Valley Trade and Transport Council (MVTTC) presented a $2,500 scholarship to undergraduate illustration student Julia Marshall at the recent World Trade & Transport Conference in New Orleans.
