Overview


SCAD offers Community Education workshops and classes in Atlanta and Savannah quarterly throughout the year. SCAD Community Education is open to youth through adults who want to experience SCAD’s high standards in art and design education and outstanding facilities.

Classes generally meet once a week over a period of four weeks. Participants learn new creative skills and techniques in small groups.

Workshops generally meet for one or two days, depending on the topic, and include all supplies.

Most classes and workshops do not require prior experience, so register now to tap into your creative spirit and uncover or embellish your own artistic talent.

Important dates

  • Monday, Nov. 16 - Winter quarter online registration begins
  • Monday, Jan. 4 – Session I Winter quarter classes begin
  • Monday, Feb. 8 – Session II Winter quarter classes begin
  • All workshop registrations end the Friday prior to the scheduled workshop date.
