Advanced Placement Institutes

Advanced Placement Institutes are conducted for high school teachers of AP courses at regional sites authorized by the College Board. Teachers may elect to participate in AP Institutes anywhere in the nation—in or outside the region in which they teach—to gain the critical information, tools and strategies needed to build and advance successful AP programs at their schools.

AP Institutes are structured to address the needs of both beginning and advanced AP teachers. Experienced AP Institute instructors help you understand the content of recent AP exams, how these exams are scored and what you can do to boost your students' AP test scores. Your participation strengthens your professional skills and provides you with an opportunity to learn technologies to help your students prepare for college-level work.
