School of Communication Arts

The communication arts engage the use of visual language to communicate ideas, translate concepts into tangible images, capture viewers’ interests, inform and entertain. At SCAD, students learn to clearly communicate visual information across a variety of platforms in the constantly evolving world of art and design. The curriculum is designed to build technical skills, hone aesthetic sensibilities and teach creative problem-solving.
