At SCAD, students learn to clearly communicate visual information across a variety of platforms in the constantly evolving world of art and design. Advertising professionals combine skills in design, writing, strategic planning and branding for use in a wide range of media. Their role is to come up with "the big idea" that communicates an advertising message creatively, to reach and influence specific target audiences.
