SCAD M.F.A. thesis film project in production

M.F.A. film and television student Andrew Fuhr wrote and directed "Passing Through Traveling Down," a short film in production that was featured on the Kickstarter blog. The film is a cross-disciplinary project in which SCAD students majoring in film and television, architecture, performing arts, production design, sound design, visual effects, fashion and industrial design collaborate.
Savannah Morning News features "IMPROV"

SCAD performing art's "IMPROV" production was featured with an article and a full-page photo on the cover of the DO section of the Savannah Morning News on Oct. 13, 2011. The production was also highlighted on WSAV-TV news programming.
Nicholas, Szeinbaum go to lighting conference

B.F.A. production design student Jenny Nicholas and Evelyn Szeinbaum (B.F.A., production design, 2011) received the USITT Theatrical Lighting Design Stipend to the International Association of Lighting Designers Enlighten Americas 2011 conference held during September in New Orleans. The stipends covered their conference expenses, and Szeinbaum is now interviewing for internship positions with several of the companies she met while at the event.
