Production designers are in demand in the expanding fields of visual programming for video, cable outlets, broadcast networks, independent filmmaking, digital video production, theme parks and other entertainment venues.

More than eight out of 10 SCAD 2008 alumni surveyed had been placed in jobs in their fields or had been admitted to graduate school within six months of graduation.
