Awards and Recognition
Performing arts professor Martin Noyes arranged for SCAD students to take the Society of American Fight Directors skills proficiency test. SCAD students were certified in 19 of 20 tests taken, an exceptionally high percentage. SCAD joins the Julliard School of Drama, the University of California-Irvine, New York University, Temple University, the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, the University of Michigan, Yale University, Penn State and the University of Virginia as elite performing arts programs that offer this opportunity for students.
