SCAD offers the only full-time, on-campus casting office to assist students in securing stage and screen auditions.
SCAD presents six mainstage productions each year, including two dance concerts.
SCAD dedicates one mainstage production each year exclusively to first-year and transfer students.
SCAD performing arts students prepare for careers through dynamic coursework, individual instruction, casting workshops and guest artist presentations.

George Hamilton (B.F.A., performing arts, 2011) has been invited to Los Angeles, California, to appear as a competitor on the season premiere of American Idol.
Oregon Shakespeare Festival hires Dan Molina

Dan Molina (B.F.A., performing arts, 2011) accepted a position as full company member at the Tony Award-winning Oregon Shakespeare Festival, where he will appear, among other roles, as Romeo in "Romeo and Juliet."
