Each SCAD painting student is challenged to create a distinctive style and mature body of work.
SCAD students learn practical skills necessary to succeed as professional artists, including how to edit a portfolio, approach a gallery and create a self-promotional website.
SCAD painting students are mentored by accomplished SCAD faculty and benefit from visiting artists who make presentations, teach classes and conduct critiques.
