SAVANNAH, Georgia - The SCAD Museum of Art will host a "Look Again" gallery talk for the Yinka Shonibare, MBE exhibition, 6-6:30 p.m., Nov. 15, at the museum, 601 Turner Blvd. Led by chief curator Isolde Brielmaier, the talk is limited to 30 guests and is free to all SCAD students, professors, staff and museum members. It is open to the public with the cost of admission to the museum.

The exhibition, titled "Addio del Passato," displays new works by the artist, featuring sculptures, photographs from Shonibare's "Fake Death Pictures" series, and the film "Addio del Passato" ("So Closes My Sad Story"). The allegorical works explore the themes of desire, love, repression and power through the historical lens of colonialism.

"Look Again" is an ongoing series of gallery talks led by SCAD curators and faculty members, inviting visitors to take a closer look at museum exhibitions. "Addio del Passato" will be on display at the museum until Jan. 27, 2013.
