SCAD Cross Country Coach Patrick Reagan named Sun Conference Co-Coach of the Year

 Five SCAD student-athletes named to All-Conference first and second teams

SAVANNAH, Ga. - SCAD Cross Country Coach Patrick Reagan has been named the Sun Conference's Women's Cross Country Co-Coach of the Year for 2012.

Reagan joined the university in August to coach both the women's and men's cross country teams. The Lady Bees finished second out of 10 conference competitors in the 2012 Sun Conference Women's Cross Country Championship held earlier this month in Lake Wales, Fla. SCAD runners Hannah Lieberman (Midlothian, Va.), Melanie Novack (St. Augustine, Fla.) and Megan O'Boyle (Wellington, Fla.) were named to the 2012 All-Conference First Team, while Sally Francis (Eastlake, Ohio) and Heather Riniker (Ridgeway, Wis.) were named to the 2012 All-Conference Second Team.

In addition, Lieberman, Novack, O'Boyle and Francis qualified for the NAIA Nationals. The women join Coach Reagan in Vancouver, Wash., to take part in the 2012 NAIA Fall National Championship Nov. 17.
