Published: Jul 8, 2011

LACOSTE, France-The SCAD exhibitions department presents "ALLEZ ALLEZ," a solo exhibition by SCAD M.F.A. painting student Jonathan Yoerger featuring a site-specific installation. On view through Aug. 26 in Blue Gallery at SCAD Lacoste, "ALLEZ ALLEZ" includes a new painting and installation of appropriated artifacts and ephemera. The selected works draw inspiration from French film, media and sports. His otherworldly imagery and unique characters reveal the artist's interest in pop and consumer culture. Yoerger's installation imbues the objects with new meaning while encouraging viewers to look beyond socially prescribed narratives.

The exhibition is free and open to the public. For more information, visit scadexhibitions.com, or call +33.(0)4.90.75.66.34.
