SCAD hosts visitation days for prospective students

SCAD Days are for high school seniors and others who are prospective first-year, transfer and graduate SCAD students.

SAVANNAH, Ga.—The Savannah College of Art and Design, the most comprehensive art and design university in the world, is pleased to host SCAD Days, an event for high school seniors and others who are prospective first-year, transfer and graduate SCAD students, Feb. 5-6 at its Savannah location. SCAD Days offer a welcoming opening house where students can tour the university, speak with admission counselors about careers in art and design and meet other prospective students.

Check-in begins Friday, Feb. 5, between 10 a.m.-1 p.m. at Poetter Hall, 342 Bull St., and allows visitors to take advantage of walk-in admission counseling, portfolio counseling, workshops for prospective students, and information sessions for parents.

Saturday, Feb. 6 offers attendees the opportunity to tour SCAD facilities and meet faculty, staff and current students, in addition to admission counseling, portfolio counseling and preparation presentations, and performing arts auditions. Check-in is at 8:30 a.m. at Poetter Hall. Lunch is provided.

Application fees are waived for SCAD Days. Registration is required. Students may register for SCAD Days online or by calling 912.525.5100 or 800.869.7223.
