SAVANNAH, Ga.—The Savannah College of Art and Design announces its annual SCADanimate! to be held Saturday, Sept. 25, 7:30 p.m., at Trustees Theater, 216 E. Broughton St. The event showcases short films from the SCAD animation department by some of the university’s most talented student animators. It is free and open to the public.

“SCADanimate! is the sixth annual showcase of short animated films made by the students of SCAD," said Jeremy Moorshead, chair of the SCAD animation department. “These 20 films represent the best animated shorts of the year, highlighting the imagination and diversity of animated storytelling from SCAD's Savannah and Atlanta locations. Many of these films will go on to win awards at national and international film festivals. See them here first!”
