Local students, parents invited to learn more about creative career opportunities with SCAD Hong Kong admission information sessions

HONG KONG—SCAD, the most comprehensive art and design university in the world, will host admission information sessions for local students and parents to learn more about SCAD Hong Kong and how the university prepares students for creative, professional careers.

SCAD will open a location in Hong Kong at the former North Kowloon Magistracy Building this September, and is currently accepting applications for admission. Courses of study are registered with the Hong Kong Education Bureau and focus on digital media, including advertising, animation, graphic design, illustration, interactive design and game development, motion media design, photography and visual effects. The university is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). SCAD Hong Kong will offer bachelor's and master's degrees, pending SACS approval.

Representatives from the SCAD Hong Kong admission department will discuss SCAD academic programs, admission requirements and the selection process, tuition waiver opportunities, and art and design career options. A portfolio overview session will be offered as well.

Free and open to the public, though registration is preferred. Register online. Apply to SCAD.
