Robert Ivy joins SCAD's Trustees Lecture Series lineup

SAVANNAH, Ga.—The Savannah College of Art and Design announces the addition of Robert Ivy, editor in chief of Architectural Record, to its Trustees Lecture Series schedule. The lecture, “Where in the World is Architecture?” is scheduled for Monday, April 19, 7 p.m. The event is free and open to the public at SCAD’s Trustees Theater, 216 E. Broughton St.

Robert Ivy, FAIA, is an architect, writer and editor. As editor in chief of Architectural Record, Ivy has grown the magazine into the world’s largest professional architectural publication, encompassing both print and the Web. Under his leadership, Architectural Record received publishing’s highest honor in 2003, the National Magazine Award for General Excellence. Also in 2003, Ivy was named vice president and editorial director of McGraw-Hill Construction Publications. “Where in the World is Architecture?” will address the most important trends affecting architecture today and will incorporate illustrations from Architectural Record.
