SAVANNAH, Ga.—The Savannah College of Art and Design announces its Fall 2010 Community Education workshops Sept. 13 through December 12. These short-term programs allow participants the chance to bring forth their creativity in new and exciting ways over the course of a day or several weeks. Each class is taught by a certified professor and held in one of SCAD’s cutting-edge facilities, or online. These innovative courses are offered to adults and teens 15 and up.
Registration for the fall series of workshops is now open to creative learners at all levels and most do not require prior experience. Costs range from $55 to $250, depending on materials (all materials are provided for workshops unless otherwise specified). Class sizes are small to provide more individual attention. Early registration is encouraged.
