Thirty pieces of work by SCAD advertising design, graphic design and photography students will be on display at the 14th annual One Show Student Exhibition in New York May 5-9. The One Show recognizes advertising’s best work in print, radio, television, design, interactive and new media.

The student exhibition at Prince George gallery, 15 E. 27th St., New York, showcases the best senior portfolios from design schools across the country. A reception will be held May 5, 5-7 p.m.

“This is an opportunity for my work to be viewed on a national level and by top agencies in the business,” said Andra Johnson, undergraduate student in photography and advertising design minor. “I’m happy my Levi’s ad was chosen because I feel it is a good representation of myself and my work.”

Work by the following SCAD students will be represented in the exhibition: Greta Ackerman (B.F.A., illustration, 2005; M.F.A., advertising design 2007); Maite Canto, undergraduate student in graphic design; Fania Cannata Costaramgos, undergraduate student in graphic design; Fabien Dodard, undergraduate student in advertising design; Guleus Edwards, undergraduate student in advertising design; Mark Garris, undergraduate student in advertising design; George Gill, undergraduate student in photography; Jason Hulbert, undergraduate student in advertising design; Johnson, undergraduate student in photography; Jeremy Jones (M.A., advertising design, 2007); James Nelson, undergraduate student in advertising design; Patrick Reid, undergraduate student in advertising design; Miguel Salvador, undergraduate student in advertising design; Feifei Sun (B.F.A., advertising design, 2008); Lauren Callie Vinson, undergraduate student in advertising design; Ke Wang, M.A. student in advertising design; Jake Wright, undergraduate student in advertising design; and Kenneth Ziegler, undergraduate student in advertising design.
