At SCAD, we want you to succeed—and our student services department provides numerous resources to help you adjust to university life and maximize your SCAD experience.

Dean of students

The office of the dean of students exists to enhance career preparation by promoting a learning-centered environment through meaningful co-curricular opportunities and professional support services.

Student success and advising

Student success advisers are available to assist you with both academic and personal concerns and to provide strategies to help you meet your personal and professional goals.

Ombudsman

The ombudsman serves as a neutral party to help you resolve university-related issues and concerns.

Counseling and student support services

Counseling and student support services staff members provide personal counseling and also conduct group sessions on a variety of topics.

International Student Services

The international student services office provides information, activities and support for our international students, who come from nearly 100 countries.

Academic Resource Center

SCAD offers free learning assistance to students who need academic help.
