Academics anonymous group

If you are a student who is on academic warning, probation, reinstated, or you just feel like you are not doing as well a you could academically, this support group can provide a supportive environment. Share with other students what you have learned, connect with students who are going through a similar experience, deal with the stress of college, and have access to advising and counseling staff on a weekly basis.

The Writers Studio

The Writers Studio offers students, faculty and staff individualized and small-group assistance with all aspects of the writing process whether personal or academic, from prewriting to developing a thesis statement, structuring ideas to revising drafts, and formatting bibliographies to much more.

When students arrive prepared to think about and discuss their writing, they benefit from more tailored attention from consultants, making the student-led approach a key factor in successful consultations. The central aim of The Writers Studio is to help students become more confident, effective and independent writers. For this reason, The Writers Studio does not function as a proofreading or editing service, nor does it act as a substitute for students' relationships with teachers, advisers or committee members.
