International Cultural and Academic Preparation Program: Savannah

New international students starting their studies during the fall quarter have an opportunity to arrive early and settle into their new home in the U.S. through the SCAD International CAPP, a four-week, pre-orientation summer program. International CAPP in Savannah offers instruction in English as a Second Language, as well as themed coursework providing an introduction to life in the U.S. and Savannah and especially at SCAD.

The program prepares students for the ESL placement test, which is administered during fall orientation. Students also become familiar with the SCAD Savannah locations and the surrounding community before their classes begin, allowing them to adjust more easily and focus fully on beginning their academic and artistic journey toward a creative career.

The SCAD Savannah CAPP experience includes trips to Atlanta, Georgia, and Orlando, Florida.
