Student Success and Advising
At SCAD, success advisers help students develop educational plans and career goals and relate these goals to academic offerings. Professional staff and faculty advisers assist with course selection and professional development on a regular basis and help guide students toward fulfillment of the requirements for graduation.
Dual advisers
- Staff success adviser, assigned when you enroll and/or transfer to SCAD. ESL students are assigned an additional ESL adviser until they complete the ESL program.
- Faculty adviser, assigned when you declare a major.
In addition...
- International student services advisers are dedicated to addressing the specific needs international students.
- Career services advisers work with students in specific programs of study with career development and job searches.
