Student clubs provide social, recreational and professional activities through the Savannah College of Art and Design community. Participation in student clubs fosters networking while in college and beyond. Membership in any student club is open to all students.

Savannah student religious clubs
Students of all faiths have many opportunities for involvement in religious life. SCAD student religious organizations may include Christian Students Fellowship, Deep End/Late Church, Hillel, Reformed University Fellowship and Wesley Fellowship. In addition, area congregations organize college ministries including opportunities for worship and fellowship, retreats, volunteer service and more.
Savannah student community service clubs
Through Service Opportunities for Students, students can serve local community agencies and gain valuable life skills, such as networking, recruiting, project planning, decision-making, promotion and delegating responsibilities. Some programs include:
- Alternative Spring Break: This is a community-service road trip during SCAD's spring break during which SCAD students volunteer their time to help meet needs in another community.
- Community Art Education: Art Education offers students the opportunity to share the skills they learn at SCAD with area elementary, middle and high school students.
- Book Buddies: SCAD students meet weekly with children from Garrison Elementary School, East Broad Elementary School, Union Mission, and Frank Callen Boys and Girls Club.
- Deli Project: This program supports local charitable meal distribution agencies.
- Habitat for Humanity: This international organization offers safe and affordable housing to low-income families. Students may get hands-on experience building a house from the ground up.
- Students for a Better Environment: In addition to promoting recycling and conservation on campus, SBE organizes environmentally based service projects like beach clean-ups, tree plantings and educational programs.
