SCAD Language Studio ESL testing check-in

Students must bring their passport, SEVIS I-20, Form I-94, visa and U.S. Social Security card (if applicable).

ESL testing is required unless exempted as noted in your SCAD acceptance packet. Review the SCAD Language Studio assessment policies.

Students will learn valuable information about banking practices, routine services, international wire transfers, identity theft and more. Students may open a U.S. bank account on site with personal funds and apply for debit cards. A passport and SEVIS Form I-20 are required to open an account with Wells Fargo.

Atlantic Station shopping trip
Explore Atlantic Station, a shopping center that includes Target, Publix and many other shops, restaurants and attractions. Shuttles pick up at the SCAD Atlanta Bookstore.

Entrance loan counseling
Students who are borrowing federal student loans for the first time must complete entrance loan counseling. Student loan funds cannot be disbursed for use until this federal requirement is fulfilled. Complete this counseling Friday, Sept. 12 or Saturday, Sept. 13 in the Welcome Center.

SCAD Atlanta mailroom
Students may pick up their residence hall mail keys in the mailroom, located on the first floor of building A, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. during orientation.

MySCAD
MySCAD is SCAD’s internal information portal. Students can use MySCAD to access information and view shared communication from the university about courses, grades and more. Changes to SCAD Card can be made in MySCAD.

Parking permit
Students who plan to park on SCAD property must register their vehicles with the university. Log onto MySCAD to print a temporary parking permit. Permanent parking permits are available for pickup 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the Student Success Center starting Monday, Sept. 22.
