Students develop skills that allow them to create interactive art and design to meet a variety of vendor industry standards. These include content and design for open-source and proprietary systems. Students utilize various applications and programming techniques.

Black Bottom Parage Indiecade finalist

Black Bottom Parade, a custom-built interactive table game designed and developed by a team of six SCAD students, was a finalist for juried categories and an audience choice award at Indiecade, an international festival of independent games. Black Bottom Parade was built for the lobby of SCAD Hong Kong by an interdisciplinary team of undergraduate students who were guided in their research by SCAD professors John Sharp, Matthew Maloney and David Spencer.
