Web for Parents

In compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), Web-for-Parents allows a student to authorize an individual to view the student's account information and make payments via the Internet. The term "parent" is used here, but it could be any interested party the student deems appropriate (including a grandparent, a spouse, a significant other, etc.). The functionality of Web-for-Parents includes the ability to view grades, course schedules and financial aid information.

What can I do with Web-for-Parents?
You can see your student's account balance and/or make an online credit card payment toward his/her account. In the future, we plan to allow viewing of grades and financial aid information.
How do I start?
First, ask your student to enable Web-for-Parents. He or she will need to complete an authorization form and create your account, which will give you an ID number and password. Then follow the instructions below.
If I can't login, whom can I call for help?
You should call your student and get him or her to confirm your Banner ID and Banner PIN. If you're still having problems, your student (not you) should call the Computer Services Helpdesk at 912.525.4567.
If I'm having other problems, whom can I call?
Your first call should always be to your student. They can confirm your ID and password and the options that are available to you.
I have more than one child at SCAD, but only one of my children's names appears in Web-for-Parents. Why is tha
To be in compliance with the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA), the student has complete control over what information his/her parent(s) can view. If your student's name does not appear, he/she has not granted you access.
