    Wilfred "Jay" Gould (M.F.A., photography, 2006) is an assistant professor at Louisiana Tech University, where he oversees undergraduate and graduate courses, and continues to exhibit his personal artwork. In the summertime, Gould maintains a position at the Maine Media Workshops. He recently completed a fellowship with the Institute for Micromanufacturing, a nanotechnology research facility, where he collaborated on the production of artwork focused on cancer research and nano-bots.     Royal Meservy (B.F.A., visual effects, 2006)was a part of the WTOC Team that took home an Emmy award for the Public Service Campaign "Man of Steel". Royal coordinated the green screen shooting and the compositing of the campaign which featured Chatham Steel President, Bert Tenenbaum, flying over Savannah's waterfront. I work as a photographer, journalist and graphic designer for the Fossey Fund. My work takes me to very isolated areas of Africa. The field is challenging and rewarding. When I majored in photography at SCAD, my goal was to one day marry my degree in photography with my passion for primatology and wildlife conservation.     Nathaniel Walker
    (M.A., architectural history, 2006) delivered a paper entitled "A Slave in His Place: Racial Regulation and Segregation in the Savannah Squares" at the annual meeting of the Society of Architectural Historians in New Orleans marking the first time a SCAD graduate has presented at this national conference. Walker's paper drew on his master's thesis, which won the Outstanding SCAD Thesis Award for 2006 and will be published in an article in the Journal of the Society of Architectural Historians in December 2011.
