    Mohamed "Mo" Aal (M.Arch., 2004) lives in Atlanta, Ga., and is a junior architect with EGAM, an Egyptian American Architecture office in Egypt, and is an assistant lecturer at MSA University.

    Labeeb "L.A. The Artist" Abdullah (B.F.A., computer art, 2004) is currently in Savannah, Ga. finishing his first feature length documentary entitled "Port Life: Savannah Georgia" which he is writing, directing, and editing. Aside from the documentary he continues to build his legacy as a freelance artist with an array of talents.writing, filming, photographing, editing, graphic designing, concept developing and creating motion graphics are all a part of Labeeb's duties as an artist. Since graduating from SCAD he has landed freelance jobs working with companies, artists, and musicians such as SCAD, Kenny Lattimore (Verve), Deborah Cox (Image/Deco), Michael and Judy Mauldin (Mauldin Brand Agency) Ludacris (DTP/Def Jam), Rick Ross, Big Boi, Bun B, T. Waters, Young Joc, Gucci Mane(Atlantic/So Icey Ent/Asylum/Warner Bros., Yung Ralph (Universal Republic Records), Bloodraw (Def Jam/CTE), Screwww (CTE/Hellaflow), Street Circus Symphony (The Grikitis Group), Amie Street, The Epochs, Middle Distance Runner, Dead Trees, and the JEA (Jewish Educational Alliance). As a mentor at SCAD Abdullah offers his knowledge, energy, and time to prospective and current students attending the institution. He is also currently involved with his community through various non-profit organizations and outreach programs.

    Mike Alburquerque (B.F.A., graphic design, 2004) lives in Recife, Brazil, and is art director for Plano b), a creative bureau. He wrote, "Less than a month after graduation the first place I looked for a job gave me the position. Though I had never interned during my college years and had next to no freelance experience, the portfolio I built at SCAD impressed the creative director."

    Rachel (Almond) Davies (B.F.A., graphic design, 2004) is a production manager for Image is Everything, a large-format digital printing company specializing in high-quality prints. Davies lives in Savannah, Ga., with her husband, Alan.

    James Anthony (M.Arch., 2004) lives in Chesapeake, Va., with his children, Quiana (March 1996) and Monique (August 1999). Anthony is the lead Imagina artist and intern architect for HBA Architects.

    Ana Ardon (M.Arch., 2004) lives in San Jose, Costa Rica, where she is a junior architect with Grupo Roble, a development company. She wrote, "SCAD was an unforgettable experience. I would have not been able to achieve all that I have in the past year if it wasn't for the education I received at SCAD."     Bess Anna Carter (B.F.A., fibers, 2004) lives in Alexandria, Va., and is a program assistant/designer for the Woodmont Weavers program of St. Coletta of Greater Washington Inc. Carter teaches adults with developmental disabilities how to weave on floor and table looms, then takes the woven fabrics and creates merchandise to sell in the nonprofit store. She also works one-on-one with the group creating goals and objectives for each term. The Woodmont Weavers program teaches independence, technical and social skills to Arlington adult residents with cognitive disabilities. Carter wrote, "This job is very rewarding!     Dana Crossan (M.F.A., painting, 2004) wrote, "I am currently living in Brooklyn, New York as a full time artist as well as a dealers assistant for Pace Wildenstein Gallery in Midtown. I most recently took part in a group exhibition in Tennessee as well as a solo showing in Brooklyn and a five man show in Manhattan. I am still painting large scale works on unstretched canvas.     Sarah Durling (B.F.A., graphic design, 2004) wrote, "I am currently the art director for the in-house creative studio of Intergraph Corporation in Huntsville, Alabama. This year I will celebrate my third anniversary with this company. I have recently won three ADDY awards for print and web designs produced for Intergraph. I will be returning to the UK in the fall to attend graduate school at Brunel University in West London studying Branding and Strategy."

    Jamie Durrence (B.F.A., fashion, 2004) lives in New York, N.Y., with his life partner, Alan Williams, and is product manager for Ellen Tracy - Liz Claiborne.

    Heidi (Dye) Deal (B.F.A., furniture design, 2004) is lead designer for Source Interlink and lives in Cape Coral, Fla., with her husband, Derek Deal (B.F.A., computer art, 2003), and their dogs, Meatloaf and Kali. She wrote, "Derek and I got married (February 2006) and recently started a record label/media production and clothing company, Altair Industries."

    Julie Echeverri (B.F.A., film and television, 2004) lives in Miami, Fla., and is a producer/editor for CentroaméricaTV, a channel that targets the Central American population in the United States. They air programming from 6 Central American countries 24 hours a day. She wrote, "My film Guipipia has been doing great. It has won festivals and it has gotten plenty of recognition which makes me truly happy."

    Melanie Edwards (M.F.A., performing arts, 2004) has been selected as one of eighty artists from around the globe for a Summer 2012 artist-in-residency at Arteles Creative Center in Haukijärvi, Finland.     Emily Tarquin (B.F.A., performing arts, 2004) is artistic associate, new play coordinator and curator of Off-Center @ The Jones at Denver Center Theatre Company (DCTC) in Denver, Colorado. As artistic associate Tarquin assists with casting of mainstage productions, arranges local auditions, coordinates video auditions and assists with New York City calls. As the new play coordinator she oversees the New Play Summit and manages all aspects of that festival. She is also curator of Off-Center @ The Jones, DCTC's newest programming aimed at attracting the next generation of audiences and artists, for which a $127,000 grant was awarded from the Doris Duke Cultural Foundation. I learned so much about my self and life in general. In the end, though, I decided to move back to my home town and opened a little quilt shop. My design skills and my education have helped me in all areas of my business. My little shop is settled in a one room school house on my family's pig farm. The modest little building on the outside made it a lot of fun to design a fresh modern interior. My goal is to write a quilt pattern book and patterns for quilts and home goods eventually!
