ACA Alumni - Where Are They Now?  1961-1970

 

Annette Cone-Skelton (B.F.A., 1968) was honored with the Wall of Outstanding Alumni Award in October by LaGrange College in LaGrange, Ga. The award is given to alumni who have distinguished themselves in their professions and communities. She is the president and chief executive officer of The Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia, a collecting museum she co-founded in 2000 that is dedicated to the promotion of Georgia artists.

Eleanor (Dixon) Stecker (B.F.A., painting, 1967) lives in Barnesville, Ga., with her husband, Alan, and her son Aaron (January 1965). She is a self-employed artist.

Robert Eagerton (B.F.A., painting and printmaking, 1962) lives in Indianapolis, Indiana with his wife Sharon and is a Professor Emeritus, Fine Art at Herron School of Art IUPUI.

Charles "Conroy" Hudlow (B.F.A., painting, 1962) is a retired architect after practicing for 30 years in Mobile, Ala. He lives with his wife, Melrose. He recently began painting again after a long hiatus. (updated 11/09/08)

Katherine Mitchell (B.F.A., drawing and painting, 1968) lives in Atlanta, Ga., with her husband, Jack. She is a senior lecturer in the visual arts program at Emory University. In 2006 she had a solo exhibition at the Factory in Krem, Austria.

Laura Mitchell (B.F.A., printmaking, 1969) lives in Atlanta, Ga., with her husband, Georg. She was an instructor of printmaking for various schools and now devotes her time to the care of her elderly parents.  

Katherine Radcliffe (B.F.A., painting, 1965) lives in New York, N.Y., and is a self-employed surface designer and fine artist.

Gary "Guy" Robinson (1969) is an independent fine artist who lives in Decatur, Ga., with his wife, Debra. View his work at www.guyrobinsonart.com.

James Yarbrough (B.F.A, painting and printmaking, 1962) lives in Fulton, Ga., with his wife, Jeanne. He is a self-employed painter.
