The sponsored-project program has truly become the hallmark of the SCAD industrial design curriculum, and 100 percent of industrial design students graduate with professional experience. Top technology
Housed in an extraordinary 44,000-square-foot facility, the industrial design department offers students opportunities to collaborate with professionals on a regular basis. Students also gain hands-on experience with industry-standard equipment: Cintiq interactive pen displays, laser cutters, CNC milling machines, 3-D laser scanners and rapid prototype machines, allowing them to convert design ideation into physical reality.
