Mission Statement
The Savannah Film Festival seeks to provide educational, cultural, youth and community enrichment through workshops, lectures, professional screenings, student showcases, student professional screenings, and community and youth volunteerism.

Tickets

Tickets go on sale at the Trustees Theater box office and by telephone at 912.525.5050 on October 1 of each year.

Festival at a Glance
Average attendance: 25,000
Premier eight-day cultural event in beautiful historic downtown Savannah
Awards and prizes are presented for the HBO Films Student Competition, HBO Films Producer's Award, feature film category, documentary film category, short film category, animation film category, student film category, Best Director and Jury Award Film.
Lectures and workshops: A series of lectures and workshops are presented during the eight-day festival that relate to the production and distribution of films.
Outreach programs: Special screenings and workshops are offered for high schools, universities and local groups.

Target Market

18-25 years old: drawn to the festival competition screenings, workshops, lectures and interaction with film professionals.
30-55 years old: drawn to the special event screenings of classic films and celebrity guest appearances.
