Passes to the 2008 Savannah Film Festival are on now sale at the SCAD box office. A limited number of passes are available at each level.
Tickets will be available at the SCAD box office October 1. Morning and afternoon screenings and panels will be $5 for the general public, $3 for students, senior and military, and free for SCAD students, faculty and staff with a valid SCAD ID. The normal price for tickets to the evening screenings will be $10 for the general public and $5 for SCAD students, faculty and staff with a valid SCAD ID. Group discounts are available.

Featuring the best in independent and innovative film from around the world
Hosted by the Savannah College of Art and Design, the annual festival presents a full range of cinematic creativity from both award-winning professionals and emerging student filmmakers.
Panel discussions and presentations by visiting artists offer movie buffs the unique opportunity to experience the art of film while interacting one-on-one with their favorite filmmakers. Past honored guests have included Peter O'Toole, Kathleen Turner, Sydney Pollack, Alan Cumming, Roger Ebert, Jane Fonda, John Waters, Danny Glover, Alec Baldwin, Natasha Richardson and Ellen Burstyn.
The festival regularly screens award-winning films before their national release dates at the Trustees Theater, a 1946 cinema house, and the Lucas Theatre, a former Vaudeville theater.
Savannah Film Festival prefers paperless entries submitted via Withoutabox's free International Film Festival Submission System (BrigitFest). Withoutabox users enjoy the advantages of extended deadlines and online press kit submissions. Filmmakers with an upgraded project on Withoutabox also receive $5 off their entry fees.
