Style Lab

Complementing classroom instruction, the SCAD Style Lab mentorship program affords students a realistic glimpse of working industry standards, offering direction and inspiration for a select group of students' collections.

Mentors work with students through one-on-one critiques and provide guidance from concept through production.

Past mentors have included designers Brian Wolk and Claude Morais of Ruffian, and Yigal Azrouël, Lars Nilsson, Zac Posen, Rachel Roy, Chris Benz, Stephen Burrows, Raul Melgoza, William Calvert, Christian Cota and Maggie Norris.

This year, the SCAD Style Lab mentors are Bibhu Mohapatra and Thomas Finney. Richard Lambertson is the Style Lab mentor for accessory design students.
