This 100-acre center is designed to hold major equestrian events and includes paddocks, pastures and arenas for competitions, as well as two barns for the university's and student rider's horses.

Students may earn a B.A. in equestrian studies. The equestrian studies program focuses on practical knowledge and includes guest lectures by industry-leading professionals including trainers, judges, veterinarians and horse show managers. The equestrian team has a record of excellence with consistent American National Riding Commission titles.

The Ronald C. Waranch Equestrian Center is designed to hold major events on its 100-acre location.

The location contains paddocks, pastures, arenas for competitions and barns.

The expansive facility is able to host competitions like the United States Hunter Jumper Association's Trainers Symposium.

Two apartments above the barn house full-time employees who monitor the horses, and SCAD security is on-site.

The equestrian team competes in the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association, but participates in other tournaments.

Students have competed at the IHSA national finals and have won 16 titles, eight of which were national championships.

SCAD offers a B.A. in equestrian studies that hones the skills of horsemanship and equine care and performance.

The footing in the main show ring is a state-of-the-art footing mixture of European fibers, diatomaceous earth and sand.

The facility has three large show rings with adjoining schooling areas, and grass paddocks for turn out.

The Ronald C. Waranch Equestrian Center is unique in that the property, barn and horses were all graciously donated to SCAD.
