One of the finest examples of Victorian architecture in the city, Smithfield Cottage exhibits many qualities of the Queen Anne style. Designed by Alfred Eichberg, the home was built for Jesse Parker Williams, who owned more than 500,000 acres of Georgia timberland. The cottage serves as the Graduate Studies Center.
