The advertising department is located on the third floor of SCAD Atlanta. Students enrolled in these classes learn to create and produce integrated marketing communications campaigns that include traditional advertising media, such as print, outdoor, direct, radio and television, along with new and alternative methods such as online, interactive and guerrilla.

Courses are taught in several different types of classrooms: hybrid studios, lecture rooms and fully-equipped labs.

Advertising design students work on developing campaigns and the "big idea."

Students present marketing for air travel, furniture, food and electronics.

Some classes are cross-overs between advertising design and graphic design.

SCAD Atlanta is located in midtown Atlanta, which offers a diverse music scene and numerous theaters, galleries and museums.
