The illustration department is located on the third floor of SCAD Atlanta and gives students the opportunity to experiment with a variety of traditional and digital media techniques. Students are encouraged to develop their own style. Students are introduced to the practical side of the illustration business, from portfolio presentation to marketing and invoicing. Coursework parallels professional practices and sometimes involves actual clients.
