Graphic design is located on the third floor of SCAD Atlanta and offers a rigorous course of study for students. The program begins with a strong foundation in design history, theory and traditional hand skills, then progresses to current graphic communication concepts, practices and technology. Students in the graphic design program are often involved in pro-bono design projects as a means of giving to the community.

Computer labs are equipped with Mac computers and a full complement of the latest software, from Adobe to Autodesk.

Students are taught traditional handcrafting skills, in addition to having access to state-of-the-art computer labs.

Students work with local, national and international clients on freelance projects with leading-edge resources.

SCAD Atlanta is located in midtown Atlanta, which offers a diverse music scene and numerous theaters, galleries and museums.
