College Security
Centrally located in the Scottish Rite building, formerly a Masonic temple, the college security office is across from Poetter Hall, SCAD's flagship building.
The offices of SCAD Security are located adjacent to the Gryphon Tea Room in the Scottish Rite Building on Bull Street.
Security officers patrol SCAD facilities and educate the university community about personal safety.
Security officers or building greeters are posted at many SCAD facilities to check IDs and log in visitors.
SCAD Security responds to any location in which a SCAD student, professor or staff member feels unsafe.
Emergency call boxes are located throughout SCAD in Savannah and Atlanta to automatically signal a 24-hour dispatcher.
