In 1954, the building that is now Adler Hall was once a local business called Home Appliance and Furniture. A south wing was added in 1969, and in 1972, the name of the store was changed to Home Appliances Wholesale and Electric Supplies.

Hybrid studios, a full lab and lecture space are just some of the features available to students in Adler Hall.

The former Fahm Street post office annex is home to SCAD advertising design and some of the film and television department.
