The evening features a silent fine art auction of original work and a one-of-a-kind fashion showcase of brilliant SCAD student designers.
The May 23 gala provides assistance for talented students with financial need. Students will present their designs in a unique setting, allowing guests an opportunity to engage with the designers and their collections.
The event, with honorary chairs Isabel and Ruben Toledo and co-chairs John D. Oetgen, John H. Lineweaver, and Ginny and Charles Brewer, will also include a fine art auction curated by Fay Gold.
Special guests include Stephen Burrows and Raul Melgoza, this year's SCAD Style Lab mentors who are working from conception to construction to styling on the senior collections of select SCAD Atlanta fashion students.
All proceeds from the evening go to the university's scholarship fund, which supports both existing and new scholarships.
