Shinekia Thomas is a SCAD Atlanta Fashion professor. She's a native of Atlanta, GA who studied fashion design at Pratt Institute in New York. She has worked in the fashion industry for more than 14 years for brands that range from Donna Karan, Thierry Mugler, Nelly Rodi, Jeremy Scott Paris, and Fila Italy. Currently, she has embarked on a new project of developing a signature collection entitled, Shinekia Thomas L'Atelier.  The capsule collection was shown as a fashion installation during the Fall/Winter 2010 Couture Week in Paris, France.
