Sara Paula Hoffman was born in St. Louis, Missouri, and now resides in Savannah, Georgia. She earned B.F.A., M.A. and M.F.A. degrees from Fontbonne University in St. Louis and has been teaching since 2003. Hoffman's work has been featured in numerous solo and group exhibitions worldwide, including a recent solo exhibition, "Ghosts of the Heartland," at Fudan University in Shanghai, China. She is a professor of foundation studies at SCAD.
