Josh Yu is from China and resides in Savannah, Georgia. He graduated from medical college prior to coming to the United States and earning a B.F.A. from the Memphis College of Art and an M.F.A. in painting from the Savannah College of Art and Design. Yu is a painting professor at SCAD, and he has shown his work in 17 solo exhibitions and more than 50 group shows around the world.
