As an interior designer and artist, Bert John is inspired by many things:  antiques, art, travel, culture and people.  He derives most of his inspiration from his upbringing in a family of artists and antique dealers whose passion for their work and art was passed on to him.  He obtained his M.A. in interior design from SCAD in 2007, and was asked to participate in the 2007 SCAD Alumni Design Show House, which was his first foray into the design show house arena.  There he landed his first client and began his current design firm, Catalyst, LLC.  John's work has appeared in numerous television shows, local and national magazines, museums and is part of the private collections of several celebrities and clients.
