Joan Raspo

Director, On-Air Creative and Branding, VH1/MTVN

A multi-disciplinary creative consultant and director, Joan Raspo has more than 10 years of experience in all areas of multi-platform media strategy, brand building, film production and post-visual effects. She was the co-creator of the award winning show "Avenue Amy," an animated comedy series for the Oxygen network, and she directed the opening title sequence for the 2007 Sundance Film Festival.

Her commercial work includes directing campaigns for Target, USA Network, Showtime Networks, and VIVA: MTV Germany. As vice president of AIGA/NY, she chaired and curated MOVE, the art and ideas conference. Raspo teaches in the Art, Media and Technology program at Parsons The New School for Design.
