"SCAD Furniture Selections: Works by Faculty and Staff" exhibition presents tables, chairs, cabinets and credenzas, among other pieces, that highlight the SCAD furniture design program.
In styles evocative of the traditional and the conceptual, the works on view offer insight into the designers' creativity and production, and highlight their intellectual and formal considerations.
Artists include furniture design faculty and staff as well as work by SCAD sculpture professor and conference contributor, Andrew Scott.
This exhibition is held in conjunction with the second annual Furniture Design Summit "Tools, Techniques and Inspiration," hosted by the SCAD furniture design program and the American Society of Furniture Designers.
Artists: J. Robert Bazemore, Tom Gattis, Aaron Heisler, George Perez, John Pierson, Andrew Scott and Jason Wech.
Gallery hours: 8:20 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
