The SCAD exhibitions department presents "Rubber Band Bird Tales," an exhibition by M.F.A. illustration student Brandon Milteer. The illustrations in this exhibition are conceptual and reflect Milteer's own personal style and narrative.
Animated movies bring stories and ideas to life, whether they are something as simple as an old man taking a walk in a park or a fantastic tale full of things that are otherworldly and naturally impossible; without the initial illustrated concept as a starting point these animated movies are only a hollow narrative shell. Conceptual illustration provides the foundation to animation. It breathes the life into characters, creatures, objects, and environments.

Gallery hours: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
