The SCAD exhibitions department presents "Ritual Craft: Art as Experience," an exhibition by M.F.A. jewelry and objects student Ryan Holandes. The exhibition presents dynamic objects created to interact with the body, illuminating the role of built artifacts in generating experience. As traditional metalsmithing meets the imaginative performances of ritual body piercing, the "art object" becomes more than a visual representation and explodes into the realm of the senses.
