"Marina Abramović"

Pinnacle Gallery | 320 E. Liberty St., Savannah, Ga. The "Marina Abramović" exhibition features three videos and an iconic photographic work that span the time from her first performance to her most recent works. This intimate exhibition chronicles the evolution of her performances: from her extremely physical early work to her more recent work exploring immateriality and the spiritual. Together the works showcase Abramović's role as a pioneer in the use of performance as a visual art form.
Held in conjunction with the 2011 deFINE ART program.
